our foyer double's as mom's sewing room :) (well, the place the sewing machines live, at least). And as the place we keep some of the extra armchairs and coffee tables we acquired after gram passed.. It works, and still looks great while being actually PRACTICAL :D

Love the use
I'm not sure why, but I just love the way you've blockaded the front door with books. Maybe because it's a bit subversive and anti-social, and I can relate.
