Wallace and Gromit

In which I would be Wallace. My reaction to today is "Well, that went as well as could be expected, didn't it?" which is from the opening scene of 'The Wrong Trousers.'

It is over, it is done, this IRS audit. Usually these things drag on for months, but the auditor was very experienced and printed out the final adjustment right there.

I can now pack for horse camp...my flight leaves at 5:30pm tomorrow. I'm sitting in the airport to fly back to Virginia now. One night back home and I'm on the road again, after I take Miss E to school, help the kids edit their stories, pack, do yoga, pack, etc. Horses! And not just any horses. Dancing horses! Writing and Riding!

I shall catch up with NaNo. That's the plan and as of right now, I'm sticking to it.

Have fun at camp, and try not to come home with the measles or poison ivy!

Yes, but horses are herd animals. They're sort of like Lay's potato chips...

That's true. One horse would be very lonely. Elephants are the same way. One of the most moving things I have ever seen was a video of an elephant who had spent decades as the only elephant in a zoo just as she arrived at an elephant sanctuary. The other elephants clustered around her and they touched each other with their trunks.
