<--------If it's Camilla, it's HORSE CAMP!!!

I am in horse camp. I am in heaven. Heaven is a very windy place, I might add. Gusts to 30mph today, you'd think I was on the f'ing prairie. But with more dust, I'm sure. Wish I had remembered to bring my sunglasses.

rstefoff and I are HERE. We were talking to big white shadows by starlight last night (no moon). Talk about your space aliens. And my alien, my great big space alien, sort of realized WHO was visiting her and then began to just breathe in my scent. Which is pretty much what I was doing to her. She buried her nose in my hands and just INHALED. And I buried my face in her neck and did the same. We were both trying to burn that memory into our brains.

dancinghorse has a pretty new shiny book "House of the Star" and I can't wait to take a copy to Miss E's class and offer it for a first read to someone in her class to get a buzz going in Virginia among the young and horsie set.

I was up way too late, but I wrote like a fiend on the plane and killed my laptop battery and wrote longhand as well. Both flights were completely full, but I didn't really care. I just staked out my space and wrote. Though the "Fargo" accents on the second leg from Chicago kind of grated on my ear so I put on headphones. We have surpassed 3k words for NaNoWriMo 2010, which considering I was in the audit on the first two days of November, is awesome progress. The goal as of yesterday was 5k, but I started the flight with only 600 words written, so this, my friends, was some serious writing. From last year, I knew I could crank it out like that and just told myself to do it, just shut the editor up and go. And it worked.
