To save trees this year, I managed not to print out review copies of returns. This was a huge step for me. I love to look at the return on paper. But it's like learning to critique novels and stories onscreen. It can be done. The next step will be not to print out input that's sent to me electronically and to scan originals instead of copying them. But I cut the number of reams of paper I used this year and e-filing also helped with that.
This past week I promptly got sick. No need to send 'get better' wishes, I'm already much better. But I ran a fever and I'm trying not to let my cough turn into bronchitis. I had that once and didn't like it. I haven't been ill after a busy season in ages. Tired and sleepy and unable to do much, yes. But not actually 'running a fever' ill. So this was a total surprise when it came to that point on Wed. I managed to reach 101.5 by 2pm. That's when I took some Advil.
An interesting side effect of running a fever seems to be that today my brain couldn't focus. It took most of the day to have a shower and get dressed. I need to do some administrative work and my brain knows that, but I can't seem to do more than acknowledge it.
And, if you didn't know already, Weatherdude was on ABC national news earlier this week. Here's the link: http://abcnews.go.com/WNT/video/anatomy-tornado-south-states-destruction-storms-weather-13404040?tab=9482930§ion=1206853&playlist=1363340&page=2 Your tax dollars at work.
