Eleven O'Clock and All's Well

Monday morning. Finished tax return for mailing Fed Ex to client.

Meanwhile, all is well on the farm. I've already fixed the temporary fence this morning and thrown Mrs. Gaines out of the run. Walkabout is out. I heard some clucking and watched for a bit. I saw the woodchuck tearing out of the barn and running for first the fence and then the deck. He is learning to co-exist with the rest of the menagerie apparently. Clucking wasn't serious, just warning clucks. I will find the lid off of the chicken feed, no doubt. The world turns back again.

The cats are out. While Thomas wants back in, PD has already figured out that he can sleep just as well in a chair on the deck. Presumably, Thomas will eventually figure out this trick as well and give up tormenting the woodchuck. Happily, it seems the woodchuck is none the worse for the gash on his nose.

Still awaiting the farm's peepers.

Idyllic, isn't it? (We won't mention a fox, no we won't...)
