Meanwhile, Back on the Farm

We mowed a maze in the 5 acre field for the party. It twists all around on itself, but it wasn't one with dead ends this year. The Dude was in a hurry.

The Dude and E went to chase butterflies in the field yesterday. They caught a few. E wanted a new toad, but they were making themselves scarce. Picture them running along the paths of the maze with butterfly net and collection boxes. It's strictly catch and release.

E came upon a faun lying in the path of the maze. She got closer and closer and it didn't move. At about ten feet from it, she suddenly yelled "BOO!" And "SHOO You Deer!" And off it went. And another faun rose up from the tall grass near it and took off with it. No sign of the daycare deer, though. She must have been on her break.
