Home Again

Home again, home again, jiggedy-jig. 435 miles in 6 hours, 35 minutes. And no, I didn't go over 70. Just a lot of room on the roads on Sunday. No stops, either. And most of it on 65mph posted roads.

Tired, I am. Miss E has Mon/Tues off for teacher workdays. Teacher conference was at 7:30 this morning. Wore me out, it did.

Talking like Yoda, you are. Very, very tired you must be.

Home safe is a Good Thing. (Talking like Martha Stewart, I am. Kill me now. Please.)

Hey Oz. Don't think I'm worry about cha just because I'm worrying about cha. Just wondering what going on in birdhousefrog land. :)

oooooh, Mighty Mouse! Another fav! (Gotta be a certain age)

I'm ok, just a crazy week with E home for Mon/Tues and things heating up downtown in my parents' old apt. I can't remember if I got any of my own work done all week, in fact, I can't remember much of the past week at all. (weak brain cells, ya know?)

But one thing I do remember is that you promised to send me something to read after I returned from WFC.

Good to hear from you. I'll send the new story over. :)

Betty Boop kinda fits in with it.

miles to go before we sleep
Dang, that was fast time.
There were only fourteen cases of commercial sailing vessels logging more than 400 nautical miles in a 24-hour period. Nowadays we manage it in 6.5 hours or so on land. I think there must be some salutary philosophical insights in this comparison. Or maybe it's merely fun to contemplate.
(too tired and disorganized to create an LJ account until later)
