Lost at Sea

Or some such nonsense. An entry is coming, I promise. The Mouse Diaries. And no, it's not about the Mouse King, but a real mouse. It's a farm entry.

Now if I can just figure out where I put my computer and my dialup connection...

And here are two surreal images from Monday while you wait:

1) I come into the sitting room to find that Rainbow Tom is asleep in the chair (this is normal, not surreal), but he is wearing E's headphones on his head. And no, no one put them on him. He somehow managed to get them onto himself and correctly. And no, I didn't get a photo, but I wish I had.

2) E asked me after that how the knitting was coming and I went into my office to get the scarf and show her. My knitting bag (courtesy of toy shop in Saratoga) was on my desk where I had deposited it about 10 minutes earlier. I reached into the bag only to discover that I was now, apparently, knitting a small cat, Mrs. Gaines. It is very weird to see your knitting move. Enough to make your heart skip a beat.
