Yes, Chickens...

Poor Chickens! Poor Cats! Poor Dead Dog Walking! Poor Fish! Poor Woodchuck! Poor Pouf!

We're off to Disney World in the morning, our annual trip.

Just so you won't feel too envious, the Dude says unfortunately, it's going to be full-blown summer temps there this week. We go in May to avoid that. Oh well. E is still excited. And I think I've remembered to pack both the camera and the uploader-thingy. Next entry from D-World.

Have a wonderful time! I've never been to Disney World, but I had a great time at Disneyland in 2006 with melinda_goodin and safewrite during the LA Worldcon.

I was there with you! Just didn't know you then!

Have fun, Oz!

Oh, if you run into Walt Disney (or his ghost) down there, show him my toe jam story, okay? Movie rights, or perhaps they could make an amusement ride out of it. I'll give you the standard 10%. ;)

Ok, printing out multiple copies now to thrust on every cast member I meet!

Coolness! 15% then, like a first-class agent. :)

Have a safe trip.

Bye!!! Have fun! At least this time when you go I'll know what you're talking about.

"Dead dog walking." Poor thing. I was wondering if he was still around.

He almost wasn't. This was to be his time, but I can't quite do it yet. The Dude almost pulled his plug when he got to the vet's tonight and discovered that the dog needed two shots to be admitted to the vet's kennel. Ok, well, I want a rebate pro-rated for each day the dog actually uses a distemper shot before he's put to sleep. Poor old thing.

"Have fun storming the castle!"
May. 7th, 2008 02:27 am (UTC)
Oh, yes, we're going to do the "storming the castle" ride! Fer sure! The Dude is very excited, even if the ride does last only 2.5 minutes and you have to exit through Ye Olde "Storming The Castle" Gift Shoppe. (comment courtesy of The Dude, who I'm reading to as the comments arrive..)

Speaking of which, E has a purse full of chicken money and grade money to spend at the largest Disney store anywhere!

So they accept chicken money at Disney!
May. 7th, 2008 11:33 pm (UTC)
If they accept Goofy Dollars, how can they not accept chicken money? Legal tender in D-World! Held off shopping the first day, but she and I were in the park by 1pm (leaving others to check in and do grocery shopping) and we did Goofy's Barnstormer (twice), the teacups, Peter Pan's ride and Winnie the Pooh before we pooped out in the heat. We got back at 4pm, crashed and everyone has gone to play mini-golf but me. I get to work!
