It's My Day, but...

I'm back swinging at the writing gig, swinging hard. Sorry about not posting. Florida turned out to be the R&R the entire family needed. It took days for all of us to catch up on sleep (who sleeps when they go to DW?) and just relax. But some wonderful things happened the last few days we were there.

This photo, taken last weekend after we got back, says it all for me. And it pretty much sums up what makes my birthday worthwhile. I'll make it nice and big...


In fact, since it's my birthday, I'm going to make you look at another one...note the remains of her Tigger tattoo.

Thanks! I'll have to post a Tigger photo. She went all grownup on us this year and didn't want to see any princesses. But when she had lunch with Tigger, suddenly that 'sense of wonder' was back in her eyes! My sister and she both had tattoos, members of the Tigger club. And when they went to the lunch with them, Tigger kissed my sister's hand. They really do things in style at DW.

I do, I really do have the best present there. We had lost that ability to just chill as a family due to the normal hustle and bustle of life. So nice to get it back!

Tattoos
Well my Tigger is finally coming off today. Twice I wore a short sleeve shirt at work and had to explain it wasn't permanent! They do tattoos well at Disney too when they last 2 weeks! I also got my R&R with the family. Three adults to one kid is just about right.
