she's having a very artistic visit. I can't get her to stop drawing to go to bed!

There's a certain amount of "burning" going on, but yes, I think there's something there and it's being encouraged by her aunt. And her giggles of glee are the part that really tickles me. She took some very psychedelic shots inside the Boston tunnels and was very pleased with the result, giggling all the way home.

We took her to the big art store in Cambridge and she's been drawing a great deal as well. Says her head is filled with ideas that need to get out and onto paper.

How could we with our little brownie cameras or the equivalent?

She's using good equipment and she's being encouraged by artists. I remember I stopped taking photographs because the camera frustrated me. I couldn't take the photo that my head saw. May that never happen to her.

Or her editor does! But she DID take the shots herself. I just selected which of the many shots to post.

But she's well on her way to developing her own eye.
